Aylesbury Choral Society is celebrating its 70th year with a choral workshop led by composer & conductor Jonathan Willcocks.

     Willcocks   Magnificat
     Fauré   Requiem
     Parry   I Was Glad

Rehearsal starts at 12 noon; performance at 6:30pm. Please arrive in plenty of time for the rehearsal to start promptly at noon. Registration and music hire will be available from 11am.

Tickets for the workshop are £12 each plus the cost of music hire. Full details are available by calling 01296 670230 or emailing workshop@aylesburychoral.org.uk for details.

1.30 pm   Lunch break
2.30 pm   Rehearsal - session 2
4.00 pm   Tea
4.30 pm   Rehearsal - session 3
6.00 pm   Wine or soft drink and cheese
6.45 pm   Performance (lasts approx 1 hour)

General information
Please make your own arrangements for lunch. A comfortable church hall is available close by if you wish to eat a pack lunch there. Or you can walk the short distance to the town centre (3 minutes) where there are coffee houses, sandwich bars etc.

Tea and biscuits/cakes will be available to buy in the tea interval.

Wine or juice and cheese will be for sale in the church before the performance.

You cannot park in the streets near St Mary's Church. A good car park is Friarscroft multi-storey in Friarscroft Way, close to the railway station and behind Safeway's supermarket (see map). This is about 5 minutes walk away, and will cost £2 for the day.

It is a short uphill walk (about 5 minutes) from Aylesbury Railway Station (Chiltern Railways).
