Saturday 6 June 2009
Our Summer Concert took a new form, with performances
of "Summer Fizz", in two different venues: St Michael's Church,
Aston Clinton in the afternoon and St Nicholas's Church, Cuddington in the evening.
A more informal occasion than our other concerts throughout the year,
we sang a mixture of secular and sacred works, ranging from
"Raindrops keep falling on my head" to anthems by Purcell and John Blow,
via folk songs by Vaughan Williams.
The concert was reviewed by David Berdinner and you can read the review
here.
