By 2:20pm Find a place on stage as for the concert. Parts will be indicated on each seat. Please do not rearrange these cards! (J) This is important, to ensure a good balance of sound.
Chris and Helen will check before the start of the rehearsal that everyone can see Jeff. If you can’t see, please let us know at that point. Please be flexible in terms of where you sit, so that everyone can see, whilst retaining a good balance and layout of voice parts.
2:20pm Practice filing on and off stage
2:25pm Warm-up with Jeff
2:30pm Start of rehearsal. There will be a break during the rehearsal, but no drinks will be provided – please bring your own drinks if you need them.
5:15pm Rehearsal ends. (If this timing changes before concert day, we will let you know at rehearsals)
Singers can stay in the venue between the end of the rehearsal and the concert, and can eat their sandwiches there if they wish. Please do not leave any litter afterwards
6:50pm Singers arrive back at St Mary’s
7:10pm Warm up with Chris. We will let you know on the day where this warm-up will take place
7:20pm Singers file onto the stage. Please stand quietly until Chris gives the signal to sit.
7:30pm Concert begins. All STAND when Jeff gives the signal.
During the Please listen for Chris at the end of the interval to indicate when we will go back on Interval stage. We will NOT be filing back on stage. Once back on stage, please sit QUIETLY and wait for Jeff to return. All STAND when Jeff gives the signal.
9:30pm At end of concert, please deposit your music in the boxes provided. We will let you know on the day where these boxes will be.
