What's ACS's programme for the new season?
The 2025 - 2026 season will be particularly notable for the appointment of our new Musical Director, Mr Philip Stopford (see photo above).Our exciting new season with a new MD includes the following.....
| Tuesday 2 September | rehearsals for the year commence |
| Saturday 4 October, 10am - 5pm | Philip introduces himself to the Aylesbury musical community with a Come and Sing, including popular classics by Bruckner, Stopford, Lauridsen, etc. |
| Saturday 6 December, 7:30pm | Winter Concert featuring Bruckner's e minor Mass, and music for the festive season |
| Sunday 14 December, 5pm | ACS contributes to Aylesbury Town Council's Carol Fest |
| Saturday 28 March, 7:30pm | Spring Concert featuring Requiem and other choral classics, including Allegri's Miserere and Stopford's O sacrum convivium |
| Saturday 20 June, 7:30pm | Summer Concert featuring music from Musical Theatre |
| Saturday 28 November, 7:30pm | Handel's Messiah |
